This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. By using Companies House IM you agree to it.
You must not
- Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service beyond normal interactive use, or attempt to circumvent rate limits.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or its compiled data, or build a competing dataset from it.
- Use personal data obtained through the Service for unlawful purposes, including unsolicited marketing, harassment, or unlawful surveillance.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure, or probe, scan, or test its security without permission.
- Upload malware, interfere with the Service's operation, or place an unreasonable load on our systems.
- Misrepresent the Service as official, government-affiliated, or as the UK Companies House or Isle of Man Companies Registry.
Fair use
The Service is for legitimate business research, compliance, and due-diligence use. Monitoring the companies you follow is supported at any volume; abusive volumes that threaten the Service or the upstream register may be throttled or suspended.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches and may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, for conduct we reasonably believe violates this policy or the law.
